About me

Let me be the first to say that my experience, education, and training pale in comparison to many others.

What I am proud of is that I was fortunate enough to chase the shadows and hang onto the shirttails of some incredible people throughout my careers. I learned from people who were better, smarter, tougher, and more experienced than me.

Still, I have done some things.

I jumped from planes. Climbed mountains on multiple continents. Swam in several oceans. Bought and sold more than a ton of drugs as an undercover officer. Worked internationally undercover in organized crime cases. Kicked in doors with SWAT. Raced cars. Taught graduate students, law enforcement officers, and officers from a few “secret agencies.”

I worked investigations with the FBI, DEA, ATF, USSS, IRS, USCS, USCG, USMS, USPS, USDA, DOJ, NPC, ICE, DHS, OCA, CIA, and dozens of domestic and foreign state and local law enforcement agencies.

I wore four different uniforms and swore the Oath more times than that.

I carried machine guns. Hunted wild animals that hunted me.

I broke into buildings, stole cars, and installed covert listening devices inside buildings, with warrants, of course. I wrote so many affidavits, search warrants, and arrest documents that I stopped trying to count them years ago.

I wined and dined with crime bosses around the world. And sometimes crime bosses wined and dined me.

I was hired as a hitman. Faked a death. Played the roles of arms trafficker, human trafficker, drug manufacturer, drug broker, and smuggler.

I saved children.

That one matters more than almost everything else on this page.

I investigated, pursued, arrested, and testified against murderers, terrorists, predators, and some people who were simply violent animals.

I have seen government waste, government abuse, and government coverups. I uncovered corporate espionage. I identified terrorist training camps operating inside the United States.

I sued the government as pro se and won a bad faith judgment against the agency.

Some judges have called me an expert. Maybe someday I will believe them.

I have been pinned with Navy, Marine Corps, Army, and law enforcement medals. Some meant far more than the metal suggested. Others meant far less.

I have had a few near-death experiences. They are overrated.

I donate at least 100 hours every year to community service. I should do more.

I have failed more often than I have succeeded at almost everything I ever tried. Some of those failures nearly destroyed me. Others taught me more than any success ever could.

I have been discriminated against and hated on. Stolen from. Beaten. Stabbed. Shot at. Doxed, hacked, stalked, and followed home.

I have been falsely accused, lied about, investigated, and vindicated.

I have lost family. Lost property. Lost careers. And at one point, lost almost everything.

I tell the truth even when telling it costs me.

I will suffer for what I believe is right.

I will help anyone who will let me help them.

I would not change much.

I would only do more.

And do better.
